Self-expression is like freeing a bird from a cage. Art is a stage for some and expression is a dance of human emotions. One such story of self-expression is of a young girl who found her calling early in life. Apart from being an exceptional student, she was keen on finding a medium to express herself. Her sensitive soul and artistic mind provided her with that medium.
Although this young woman loved to draw since she was a girl but truly found her inspiration in art during her teenage years. The creative streak made her dreams stretch beyond just being a good student The sheer determination carved her path and led her through a route filled with unexpected twists and turns. Her story of self-exploration began when she enrolled herself in extracurricular activities and programs related to science, robotics, and even sports.
The idea was to explore her potential in every way possible. With every challenge, she explored her imagination and tested out all the possibilities. Her love for trying out new things ignited a newfound passion and she convinced her father to get her an electronic keyboard so that she could learn to play her favorite melody. Her passionate soul filled her with a strong determination that she taught herself " River Flows In You" her favorite melody from YouTube in a mere 8 hours - safe to say that not many have this dedication toward their goals and passion. Ever since this first achievement, she has been playing piano by ear with the help of YouTube.
Art and music became a form of self-expression and exploration and her journey as an artist and a pianist began to flourish. Luckily her parents and teachers provided much-needed mentorship to guide her on the path that she always dreamt of. After finishing high school, she opted for medicine as a profession and began her journey in medical school. This proved to be a tough decision but her strong will and love for art kept her going even when this path seemed challenging.
As a multi-talented girl, enrolling herself in medical school seemed to be the right option as she always wanted to create an impact and help out others. Although the extremely challenging 6 years of medical school have laid out a difficult path for her she is determined to be focused on all aspects of her ambitions. Finding a balance is the biggest hurdle ahead but determination and strength are powerful tools that can carve every path. Art is the best medium to express all emotions, dreams, and what life truly seems. As the colors splash across the canvas, the stress of a day is released, and the glory of life fills a meaning onto the blank canvas. It's not easy to keep her profession and hobbies sync in with a busy schedule of medical school.
Long hours of studies do tire her out but her love for painting keeps her going. This young lady promised herself to live fully and stay true to her passion. She managed to participate in art exhibitions one of which was held in Egypt in 2018. This made her comfortable enough to tick another complicated goal off her list when she arranged a personal exhibition in Dar Zahran in 2019. Being active in all aspects of her life is like a fuel of passion for her soul.
Her upbringing played a crucial in forming who she is today as a person. She grew up in a multicultural household with both parents sharing different nationalities, cultures, and mind sets. She'd learned to accept every culture and race early in life and became an open-minded girl who was confident enough to ask questions and accept every personality around her. Living in such a household helped a lot with her self-discovery journey and in her character-building as well.
She always wanted to create a meaningful impact in this world, make beautiful things, and change lives while she expressed herself and the stories around her. She doesn't only want to be a consumer but be a producer as well, someone who produces art, and music, writes stories, and makes a change even if it is small.
As a doctor, It's not always easy to balance their career and hobbies due to the stress and busy hours the profession brings with it so she relies on meditation which helps her balance everything and stay peaceful as well. She uses art as a medium to find peace and not feel pressurized by everyday stress and long hours of shifts.
Her competitive character makes her want to do better every time she wants to achieve something in life and strive for the best within her. She considers herself her competition which helps push her boundaries and test out her limits. Her skills as an artist improve each time she sets a goal for herself and she feels a sense of freedom when she brings out a better version of her creativity. Each time she finds that her work and her life have improved from the last time, it brings a sense of motivation and makes her want to keep moving.
This beautiful soul, with a delicate heart and wings that make her dreams spread wide open, now fills empty canvases with vibrant stories and impactful moments, all while she is pursuing medicine as a profession. The tune of her piano soothes the stressful notes of the day as the melody unfolds and wraps her in a peaceful cocoon.
